Tiny Dogs Matter
Timothy Scott
Now here me out,
we are all tiny dogs and
Earth is the pocketbook
we call home
It’s being carried by mother,
let us call her Theresa,
as she heads to the store to get us treats.
Hopefully she learned her lesson
last time she packed so much
shit in here it crushed
all the big dogs.
At least that’s what everyone says
so much shit it was like the meteor shower
that killed all the dinosaurs.
I like my pocketbook home
there’s a lot of room in here to run around
but every now and then I like to stick
my head out, only to see night as dark
as your room as a kid without a nightlight.
Oh fuck, here they come.
It’s raining doggie treats.
Why can no one hear my whimpers for help?
